It is us who create the demand for things like religion, fast food, Dr.s, instead of taking responsibility for our spiritual connections, eating real food and knowing our own bodies. Just a thought. I agree that we need to stand up and say what we want, we need to take that power back instead of wanting everyone else to take care of things for us. Who is everyone else anyway? Its us! But what about those who use natural health care and don't see Dr's on a regular basis, or don't see them at all? I am a neuromuscular massage therapist, I see clients who are taking accountability for their health care. If you read some of the articles I posted, you can see where Dr's are unable to deal with chronic pain effectively. As an NMT with 6 years under my belt dealing with chronic pain, I see these people more than Dr's do. People with chronic pain are fed up with Dr's. Pharmaceuticals are all you will get when you go to a Dr. because this is all they are trained in and they benefit only from selling pharma thanks to JP Getty, not med mari. Most of my clients are neglected by their general practitioners, ie. forget to mail the paperwork, delays, stigmatize them when they ask, pump them full of oxycodone etc. In fact most people won't ask for that very reason. I would really like to see this issue addressed. It would be good for med mari to get into the natural health care realm, it will benefit both the patients and their true caregivers who are helping them with chronic pain on a daily basis. Natural providers have studied nutrition, hydration, exercise and somatics. Medical Dr.s have no training in anything outside of pharmaceuticals, (speaking from experience as I just took a physiology course at a regular college), its all about drug reactions. Dr.s are trained in drug reactions and surgery. Sorry to ramble, just wanted to shed some light on a few things. Thanks for listening. Its true that many of the people who are getting their cards are being responsible by avoiding the senseless war on drugs and incarceration- all of the stuff that comes with being a "criminal."
