Not old enough to really have much experience with kids, my own or others. (I never babysat, either.)

But I think kids are bound to get hurt because that’s part of what being a kid is. Not exactly practical to wrap them in bubblewrap and send them on their way…

Without a doubt; being the step mom. Hubby and I have the children; have had them for seven years now. Lately the drama has been on overdrive and having to be the bigger person and rise above it just gets so frustrating. I even blogged about it; something like “Things I wish I had said, but knew I never would”.

cant answer this since i dont have kids. but as an uncle i have had to lie to my nephew when he asks me certain questions he cant ask his parents, to try and steer him in the right direction without ratting him out.
